  • Supervised and managed the everyday operation of information systems network with duties including user administration, planning for network growth, network infrastructure upgrades, server upgrade, migration and installs on a variety of platforms including Windows NT, Novell 3x, 4x, and 5x, Linux and AIX
  • Implemented enterprise data backup systems, maintained the WAN, and administered the hospital’s wide area link to the Internet
  • Led migration and Y2K upgrade project for the network infrastructure, including the consolidation of more than 25 different Novell 3.x and 4.x files, applications and print servers, increasing performance and easing administrative load; upgraded and tested all servers and network equipment for Y2K compatibility
